What to Expect When You Visit

Our services consist of worship through music, followed by a time of teaching, and are about 70 minutes long. South Drive Pastors teach out of the Bible and bring sermons of truth, hope, and love. Services are held at 15229 South Drive, Channelview TX, 77530.
Greeters
We know visiting a new church can be intimidating, that’s why we have plenty of people to greet you with a warm smile and show you around! We don’t always recognize the first-time visitors so feel free to say, “This is my first time” and we’ll guide you in! We’d also love to give you a gift as a first-time guest!
Dress
We care about YOU, not what you’re wearing! We want you to feel welcome just as you are! Our dress code is simple: wear something.
Food and Drink
Grab a hot cup of free coffee from our welcome stand and sit wherever you’d like. Coffee is allowed in the auditorium so make yourself at home!
Kid-Friendly
We strive to provide a safe environment for kids and families. If you bring your kids, you’ll check them in and out of the children’s area. Babies and toddlers are cared for by loving volunteers in our nursery (ages 0 through 3). There is a children’s room and Children’s Church for ages three through fifth grade. All of our ministry volunteers must pass background checks and have a heart for kids and families.
Practical Teaching
Our teaching is centered on the person of Jesus, the message of God’s grace, and rooted in scripture. We believe in teaching practically out of the Bible and allowing the Holy Spirit to speak through our pastoral team. We don’t just want to just give you information, but teach for transformation that will equip you to live a life empowered for Jesus!
Worship
Our services have music that is lively that includes a mix of songs from hymnal and current contemporary music. We focus on leading people into the presence of God with our music.
